On the underside, the tureen features the original sphinx stamp with the exact year 1941.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhat makes this dish extra special is the period in which it was produced. While tableware later in World War II had to be very simple and plain white due to material shortages, this 1941 example is still decorated with the beloved, cheerful, and colorful wild flower decor (including a pink rose and a tulip).
