English tableware Wood & Sons "Dorset"
€175,00
High tea, anyone? With that beautiful vintage crockery, you'll want to host a high tea every weekend.
This amazing tableware is from Wood & Sons, which was founded in 1865 in Burslem, one of the six towns in "The Potteries" of Stoke-on-Trent. The pattern on the teasest is called Dorset and was made with hand engraving and a pattern applied under the glaze. This makes the dinnerware acid- and detergent-resistant, which was exceptional for its time.
The beautiful and very complete set consists of 40 pieces and is still incredibly beautiful and completely intact, except for a very small chip from the bottom of the sugar bowl lid.
