Complete tea set Reinastrid
A beautiful and exceptionally complete vintage tea set from the Belgian brand La Porcelaine Renastrid.
This refined dinnerware carries a special history. It was produced in the porcelain factory of Jambes (near Namur, Belgium) and released as a royal tribute to the immensely beloved Belgian Queen Astrid (Reine Astrid), who tragically died in 1935.
The name 'Renastrid' is a direct contraction of her title. This dinnerware dates from the late 1930s to early 1940s and beautifully reflects the transitional period between sleek Art Deco and the emerging post-war romance.
The dinnerware is made of very fine, eggshell-thin white porcelain and decorated with a romantic, colourful bouquet of summer flowers (including violets and roses). The edges, handles, and details are elegantly finished with a high-gloss silver/platinum trim. An absolute eye-catcher with a story, perfect for a high tea or as an atmospheric vintage decorative piece!
