Silvercoloured shell - butterdish or caviarshell

I can never resist these charming silver-tone vintage butter dishes, or caviar shells, whenever I come across them. This particular piece simply had to come home with me from Italy! It looks so decorative on the table; stunning for a fancy dinner or a cozy breakfast. Thanks to the handy glass insert, the shell is perfect not only for butter but also for caviar, tapenade, or savory snacks.

The shell comes complete with its original glass inner dish, making this vintage set extra unique and ready for immediate use.

While the shell is no longer in pristine condition, it is complete and remains incredibly decorative with the glass insert in place. And when in use, it looks truly beautiful!
