Societe Ceramiqun Ecussion footed fruitbowl (1920-1950)

This distinctive footed fruit bowl originates from Société Céramique in Maastricht, one of the historic Dutch earthenware factories.

The 'Ecusson' pattern features a repeating geometric design in blue, applied along the rim of the bowl and around the base. Its elevated form harks back to a time when fruit bowls and compote dishes were a staple on the dining table.

A fine example of traditional Dutch functional earthenware, which still fits perfectly today within a collection of blue-and-white tableware.

The bowl shows visible signs of age and some discoloration.
