Vintage stone eggs

Two beautiful stone eggs, one made of marble, the other of onyx. A lovely addition to an existing collection or a great way to start one.

These eggs were particularly popular during the second half of the twentieth century, specifically from the 1960s to the 1980s. They served as decorative items but also as an early form of stress-relief object; because natural stone is smooth and cool to the touch, people found it soothing to fidget with them.
