Antique Victorian Dressing Table Mirror - England
Wow, what a characterful statement piece! This beautiful, original 19th-century Victorian dressing mirror (circa 1880) is crafted from deep, warm mahogany wood and is in solid antique condition.
The mirror hangs between two iconic, hand-carved 'barley-twist' support pillars and is fully tiltable. What truly makes this piece special is the heavy, authentic white marble plateau base. A perfect, chic foundation to display your favorite perfumes, jewelry, or unique vintage finds.
The back features the original wooden protective plate with some dry, historical moisture rings. This is completely normal for a utilitarian object over 140 years old, does not affect its sturdiness, and is, of course, invisible from the front. A beautifully aged piece of interior history!
Styling tip: Place it on a minimalist modern credenza in the hall, a side table in the bedroom, or instantly transform your bathroom into an eclectic boutique hotel.
